Preparing Your Artwork

Follow these general guidelines to ensure your custom printing job comes out perfectly. For specific product requirements, please contact us.

File Formats

  • • PDF (preferred)
  • • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • • EPS (vector)
  • • PSD (flattened)
  • • High-resolution JPEG

Color Mode

  • • Always use CMYK
  • • RGB may cause colour shift
  • • Convert spot colours to CMYK
  • • Embed colour profiles
  • • Proof colours on screen

Resolution

  • • 300 DPI for print
  • • 150 DPI for large formats
  • • Vector graphics preferred
  • • Avoid upscaling images
  • • Check image links

Bleed & Trim

  • • 3mm bleed on all sides
  • • 3mm safe area inside
  • • Include crop marks
  • • Full bleed for backgrounds
  • • Check final trim size

Fonts

  • • Convert to outlines/paths
  • • Embed fonts in PDF
  • • Use standard fonts if unsure
  • • Check font weights
  • • Minimum 6pt for body text
