Guidelines for preparing print-ready artwork files

Preparing Your Artwork

To ensure the best quality print results, please follow these guidelines when preparing your artwork files. Proper preparation helps avoid delays and ensures your printed materials look exactly as intended.

Specification Details

Bleed

Add 3mm bleed on all sides to ensure proper trimming.

  • • Extend background colors to edge
  • • Prevents white borders after trimming

Safe Area

Keep important text and graphics 3mm inside the trim edge.

  • • Avoid placing text near edges
  • • Ensures nothing gets cut off

Color Mode

Always use CMYK color mode for print materials.

  • • RGB colors may print differently
  • • Convert all images to CMYK

Resolution

Images should be at least 300 DPI at actual size.

  • • Low resolution appears pixelated
  • • Vector graphics are preferred

File Formats

Preferred file formats for print production.

  • • PDF (high quality print)
  • • JPEG (final output)

Fonts

Convert fonts to outlines or embed them.

  • • Outlines prevent font issues
  • • Include font files if editable
